The Louisiana Red Beans and Rice Heritage and Music Festival is leveling up its mission this year. On March 21, we aren’t just celebrating our culture and cuisine—we’re celebrating National Recycle Day!
We believe that honoring our heritage goes hand-in-hand with protecting our home. To keep our state beautiful for generations to come, we’ve integrated several green initiatives into the festival experience:
What to Expect
• Live Education: Interactive booths where you can learn exactly what can (and can’t) be recycled in Louisiana.
• Eco-Friendly Habits: Tips on reducing waste while enjoying your favorite festival foods.
• Community Impact: See how small changes in how we dispose of our trash can preserve the swamps, bayous, and cities we love.
